As Maripak Packaging, we are proud to share the success story of KelRot5655, the robotics team of Kabataş Erkek High School, for whom we served as a production sponsor.
This season, the team competed in the FIRST Robotics Competition Marmara Regional with their robot “Toothless”, going head-to-head with teams from both Turkey and various countries around the world. With their outstanding performance during the qualification matches, they earned the position of alliance captain of the 4th alliance in the playoffs and advanced to the semi-finals. This remarkable achievement marked the highest ranking in the team’s history and their first experience as an alliance captain—making it a truly unforgettable season.
At Maripak, it was a great pleasure for us to contribute to their success by opening our production facilities to them, supporting them in both the supply and manufacturing of parts. It was also an inspiring experience for us to witness these future engineers engage with real-world production processes and receive tangible support for their projects.
Thanks to their impressive performance at the Marmara Regional, KelRot5655 was invited to the FIRST Championship held in Houston, Texas. Being selected among only 600 teams out of more than 3,500 worldwide is a clear testament to their dedication and hard work.
The team has already started preparing for the 2026 season, aiming to improve their knowledge and experience through new projects, development activities, and friendly events.
